It’s not secret that we’ll eventually see a Metroid Wii U game, and artist Rick Kohler has created an amazing piece of concept art that just makes us wish this was Metroid for the Wii U. It’s dark, gritty, yet colorful and detailed. Fun fact: Kohler actually works for Epic Games, makers of the upcoming Unreal Engine 4. In fact, it’s been rumored that Epic has taken over duties from Retro Studios to create a Metroid Wii U game. Yes, we know it’s quite far fetched, but when Metroid eventually comes to the Wii U console, we would be blown away if it ends up looking like this concept art. Of course, this concept art wasn’t necessarily made to show off Metroid, it could have been any game. But we really wish it was Metroid What do you think?
